CSS Code: background-image: linear-gradient(to right top, #051937, #004d7a, #008793, #00bf72, #a8eb12). Easy gif maker v1 0. Most other places use a linear-gradient(hsla(0, 0%, 0%, 0.8), transparent) where the start alpha most times is between 0.6-0.8. This solves the issue of making the text readable, but the resulting gradient is very prominent. In Mozilla (-moz-opacity:x) x can be a value from 0.0 - 1.0. A lower value makes the element more transparent (The same things goes for the CSS3-valid syntax opacity:x). In IE (filter:alpha(opacity=x)) x can be a value from 0 - 100. A lower value makes the element more transparent. Here is an example − Live Demo.
